TeXLive 2013でShift_JISとUTF-8のファイルを同時に扱う(Windows 7)

前提

Windows 7上でTeXLive 2013を使っている。

問題

Shift_JISとUTF-8で書かれたファイルがあり、どちらかにそろえるのは難しい。

解決

ファイルtexmf.cnfにguess_input_kanji_encoding = 1と書き、ファイルの文字コードを自動認識させる。

詳細

ファイル C:\2013.cnf に以下の行を追加する。

guess_input_kanji_encoding = 1

以下の3ファイル(sample.tex, sjis.tex, utf8.tex)を用意する。 sample.tex (Shift_JIS)

\begin{document}

\input{sjis.tex}

\input{utf8.tex}

\end{document}

sjis.tex (Shift_JIS)

「数学ガール」シリーズは\LaTeX2e{}で書かれています。

utf8.tex (UTF-8)

「数学ガールの秘密ノート」シリーズも\LaTeX2e{}で書かれています。
